We are happy to share our experiences with Leck Builders with you. Our build was just completed in November 2007. We are also hesitant to build from so far away and lacking the ability to see the progress as it went up, but I can assure you that we chose the right person for the job with Bob and Bryan doing some of the actual build. The subcontractors that they use are local and top-notch and are happy to meet with you to discuss any special needs that you may have. Bob is extremely organized and has his subs scheduled efficiently. We highly recommend that you at least consider them for your build. He emailed us pictures regularly and phoned whenever he had a question or we had a choice about something that came up during construction. He gave allowances for certain things that we were to pick out on our own, like appliances, flooring options, countertops, etc. His pricing was incredibly accurate for a home that he had never build.

We were making plans to build our “dream home”  in Colorado while still residing in Maine. The house was designed by an architect in Maine, but we needed a quality builder who knew the best engineers, energy efficient consultants, high-end product resources and reliable sub-contractors in the area. We also needed a professional who could perform the oversight as “clerk of the works” while leading and performing the tasks of a master builder. After telephone and on-site, in-person interviews with several builders, there was not question that Leck Builders met all our expectations. The greatest joy for my husband and I is that the completed house continues to exceed our expectations and the bonus we received from the entire experiences is a sincere and lasting friendship with the Lecks’s.
